The Sofitel Lafayette Square hotel is located in historic Washington, DC

Downtown neighborhood surrounding the White House The area showcases

distinguished buildings, architecture and sculpture that reflect the city and the

nation's history. The Sofitel Lafayette Square Hotel is situated at the corner

of Lafayette Square which borders the White House.  It is minutes from the National

Theatre, Ford's Theatre, Lincoln Museum and the popular downtown restaurant

district.  It is convenient to Capitol hill, Smithsonian Museums, Vietnam Memorial,

Washington Monument and other popular attractions.

Room Reservations

Room reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly on 1-202-730-8800 and ask for "group" reservations.  To receive the conference room rate, negotiated at the Federal Per Diem rate of $201 + a nightly room occupancy tax of 14.5%, you must mention National WIC Association.

 

Reservations must be made before the Cut-off Date of February 15th, 2008.

Reservations made after the cut-off date are not guaranteed at the conference rate.

Method of Room Guarantee

For each reservation, the hotel requires a deposit equal to one night's stay payable by check or valid credit card.  Cancellations must be received by the hotel two days (48 hours) prior to your arrival date to be eligible for a refund.

Hotel Check In/Out Policy:

Hotel check-in time is at 3:00 p.m. and the check-out time is at 12:00 noon.  Guest arriving before 3:00 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available.  the hotel's Bell Desk can arrange to have your bags checked pending room availability.  Also, should a guest require a late check-out, please make arrangements with the hotel's front desk.  These arrangements will be based on the hotel's standard policy.

 

Upon checking in, each guest will be asked to provide a government issued photo ID along with proof to which the reservations were made.

Hotel Parking

Hotel valet parking is available at the prevailing rates currently from $26 - $31 and are subject to change without prior notification.  Rates do not include taxes.
